Wallet Migration

Rotate to fresh wallets while preserving all funds.

Wallet Migration (also called wallet rotation) lets you move all funds from your current wallets to a fresh set of wallets. This is useful when you want to start trading from new addresses without manually creating wallets and transferring funds.

When to Use

  • Fresh addresses — Start trading from new on-chain addresses that aren't linked to your old activity
  • Operational security — Periodically rotate wallets to reduce traceability
  • After archiving — Move funds out of wallets you want to retire

How to Use

  1. Select wallets from the Wallets page
  2. Click Swap Wallets (rotate) from the toolbar
  3. Confirm the rotation

Sumo generates new wallets, transfers all funds (SOL and tokens), and archives the old wallets.

What Happens

  1. New wallets are derived from your existing seed
  2. SOL and token balances are transferred from old wallets to new wallets
  3. Old wallets are archived automatically
  4. Strategy assignments are updated to use the new wallets
